These extremely lightweight 3-season solo tents offer efficient design and sturdy frames for backpacking. Most are very simple to assemble and have great ratings and reviews from reputable backpacking associations. The Eureka Solitaire offers an efficient tunnel design and a sturdy fiberglass shock-corded frame. An added zipper in the center of the roof cloth allows easy entry and exit. At 2 lbs 9 oz, this 3 season, single man tent compact fold size remains extremely lightweight. Two storage pockets and flashlight loop inside top it off.

The Spitfire tent by Eureka is another ultralight, efficient 1 person backpacking tent option. This model offers 3 feet, 4 inches of center height and side entry. It is said that set up is fast and easy with the post and grommet corner attachments and clips to attach the tent body to the frame.
