OUTDOOR LOUNGING CHAIRS

One big reason to go camping is to relax. You’re away from home. No worries about dripping faucets or old wiring plaguing you. No appointments to keep. You’re just hanging outdoors enjoying the fresh air and sunshine. To help you get the maximum relaxation out of your trip consider bringing along a comfortable lounging chair or two. Or pack up a camp glider for an extra soothing experience.

Big Bubba Hi-Back Chair with Footrest

The Big Bubba can seat a big guy in complete comfort. The wide, full-length, 600- Denier polyester sling seat is attached to a folding tubular steel frame; the unit can handle up to 300 pounds. The chair also features a detachable pillow headrest and armrests (not detachable) with built-in drink holders. Best of all for extreme relaxation is the removable footrest. This is constructed of a tubular steel frame with a salt water resistant finish and the same polyester as the chair. It attaches to the chair at the sides of the seat and the base of the front legs.

Lounge Lizard Chair

After, or even during, a long day, try out the restful Lounge Lizard chair. Just unfold it, sit down, and glide to your favorite setting, then lock it in place. The polyester mesh fabric is cool and comfortable and the tubular steel frame is strong and sturdy. High-tension elastic cords provide the suspension, and an adjustable contour pillow rests your head. The chair also comes with a flip-up cup holder and a heavy-duty carrying case.

Camp Glider Chairs

If lounging around with your feet up isn’t relaxing enough, you may have to move up to a glider. While there aren’t a lot of them available, we found a couple for you to check out. The Pangean glider by Byer of Maine features a sling seat on a frame of eucalyptus wood (plantation grown) and a gentle rocking motion. Coleman’s Rocker chair has an aluminum frame with water-resistant fabric and offers a gliding, rocking motion. Both chairs fold flat for storage and are easy to carry.
